For the renewal of Bica do Sapato, Branca Lisboa developed bespoke furniture and supplied selected pieces from its collection, all designed by Marco Sousa Santos, contributing to the transformation of one of Lisbon's most celebrated restaurants.
Led by architect Francisco Tojal, the project reimagines the iconic space while respecting the legacy of its founder, Manuel Reis. Alongside Branca Lisboa's contribution, the intervention brings together bespoke beer taps by Manuel Aires Mateus, artworks by Maria Appleton, and the reintroduction of Daciano da Costa's iconic chairs.
The result is a carefully considered dialogue between architecture, art, design and craftsmanship, opening a new chapter for one of Lisbon's most enduring dining destinations.
