Sustainability is a prime concern at Branca, and we are deeply committed to create sustainable products without endangering the surrounding environment. Our products are manufactured with respect not only for the environment but also for user health and safe products.
On Design
At Branca we put the maximum effort on designing long lasting product. When designing our products we always look for smart solutions, reducing the quantity of materials and using as few joining elements as possible while minimizing the unnecessary use of screws and bonding.
On People
Branca intends to nourish associations with production partners based on shared trust and fair trade. Working along the years with the best Portuguese craftsman, we have resolved to guarantee that all our partnerships consider local integration for a balanced result on price, quality and innovation.
On Materials
The primarily material used at Branca is wood, a natural, renewable, and sustainable material. Our products are made of solid wood and plywood, both FSC and PEFC certified.
We also work alongside Gabriel and Kvadrat who produce genuine and sustainable fabrics.
Materials that have defects are not rejected giving wood a greater use while minimize waste.
