Architectural Photography

Architecture has been one of the main subjects of photography since the technology first emerged.

At first architectural photography was mainly seen as way of documenting buildings and houses, but it soon evolved into its own form of art.

Architectural photography is all about buildings, monuments, interiors, and exteriors. The purpose of the images is either to create a work of art or to document the aesthetics of a structure. Lens allow you to see the room in a different way than the eye, and so, an architecture photographer’s job is to translate the visual experience into a two dimensional image, using a wide set of techniques.

It’s not what we see, it’s what we make others see.

An empty interior can be visually appealing, but furniture complements a space by adding a different feel about it. At Branca, we are proud to have been collaborating over the years with some of the most renowned names when it comes to Architectural Photography. Fernando Guerra, Francisco Nogueira and Eduardo Nascimento are among the photographers that are giving projects a different way of looking at them along with some of our designs.
